Cookie Notice & Content Reporting

Version 1.0.0 · effective 2026-09-01

Part A — Cookies and local storage

In the app (https://my.projectdigo.com)

The app uses only what is strictly necessary — no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking:

Name What it does Lifetime
Session cookie Keeps you signed in and protects forms (CSRF) Browser session
REMEMBERME Optional "stay signed in" 30 days
app_locale Remembers your chosen language 1 year
mercureAuthorization Authorises the live story stream for your own session Scoped to the session
Local storage (PWA) Sign-in token and app preferences on your device Until sign-out / uninstall

These are strictly necessary and require no consent banner. One third-party element runs at registration only: the Cloudflare Turnstile bot-protection widget (see the Privacy Notice §7) — it is a security measure, not tracking.

On the marketing site (the public landing pages)

The marketing site can use Google Analytics 4, and only with your consent:

  • nothing from Google loads until you press Accept in the cookie banner;
  • Decline is one click and equally prominent; the site works identically either way;
  • when enabled, IP addresses are anonymised and all advertising features are off;
  • your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (pd_consent, 180 days), and you can change or withdraw it any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time (this may sign you out of the app).

Part B — Reporting illegal or infringing content (notice & action)

If you believe content on ProjectDigo created by another user is illegal or infringes your rights, report it so we can act.

How to report:

  • In the app — use the report action on the content itself (message, story, character or image). You will get a confirmation with a report number immediately.
  • By email — info@projectdigo.com, with: (1) the specific content or account concerned (enough detail to locate it), (2) why you believe it is illegal or infringing, (3) your contact details, and (4) for IP claims, a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act.

What happens next: we review every report, decide whether the content is removed, restricted or kept, and send you the decision with its reasons (in-app reports: to your notification feed). Where content is restricted, the affected user also receives the reasons. We act against content sexualising minors and other clearly illegal content immediately and report it to the authorities where required. Knowingly false notices may themselves be acted on.

If you disagree with a decision, reply through the same channel (info@projectdigo.com) and a person — not an automated system — will review it again.

Scope note: the AI-generated narration and images the Service itself produces for you are our own output, not user-hosted content; this reporting channel covers both, but complaints about our own output are handled as service complaints rather than hosting notices.
